DD2's fever is down today. I took her to the quick clinic and had a quick strep test done. It was negative. Don't know whether to be happy about that result or not. She's definitely more alert than yesterday, but still kind of draggy. So, I'm stuck at home with a talkative, but under the weather child. Distraction city! LOL. She's watching ( Read more... )

I picked up DD2 from school and discovered that she felt quite hot.  Took her home, set her up on the couch.  The poor thing has a fever.  I'm wondering if it's a virus or strep.  I'm hoping for virus in some ways.  Anyhow, she seems chipper when she's awake, so I'm not super worried at the moment.  It's been a while since I had a sick kid at home ( Read more... )

DD2 fell asleep at 5 and has basically stayed asleep.  She doesn't have a fever.  A tummy thing is going around school.  I really hope it's not a tummy thing.    Please send happy tummy mojo our way ( Read more... )

I was out babysitting and I arrived home to discover that DD2 was sick while I was out:(  Now I'm all worried.  Please send vibes that this was a random one time thing and none of the rest of us will get it.

I was supposed to have a morning to myself, but after one look at DD1's eyes, I knew that was not to be.  I took her in and sure enough, it's pink eye:P  So, we went to the pharmacy and then to the dollar store.  Now I'm home.  In a messy house.  With no free time to myself.  On two nights of crappy sleep. *throws pity party for self*  And of ( Read more... )
